AI manifesto

Writizzy and AI

I think it's important to state our position on AI right from the start. Since Writizzy is just getting started, everything is still possible. We could easily integrate all sorts of features to completely automate your blog: AI-generated daily suggestions based on past performance, AI-written articles, or even fake AI-generated comments to encourage others to participate, etc. There's no technological barrier to doing this. But it's so far from what we want to create...

If you want an environment with 90% bots interacting with each other, go to X.

But if you're starting a blog, what will convince me to read you is you, your story.

This page is inspired by Cassidy Williams' manifesto and the AI manifesto. And I'll quote them here: "If you couldn't be bothered to write something, I won't be bothered to read it"

We won't stop you from using AI on Writizzy. You do what you want, and besides, I don't want to implement detection mechanisms. But we won't add features to make it easier.

I'm not saying we'll never offer features to help with writing. It might be spell-checking or help generating meta descriptions. Meta descriptions are summaries of your content made for Google—honestly, if a robot talks to a robot, why not. And it will remain a summary.

But Writizzy won't be yet another AI slop platform.
