Video keeps readers on the page. Whether you are embedding a tutorial, a talk, or your own channel, YouTube drops into a Writizzy article with nothing more than a link.
Grab the video link
On YouTube, click Share under the video and copy the link. The short youtu.be/... form and the full youtube.com/watch?v=... form both work.
Drop it into your post
Paste the link on an empty line in the editor and it becomes a responsive player. Or type /youtube in the slash menu and paste the URL into the dialog.
Start at a specific moment
Want the video to begin at the good part? On YouTube, tick Start at in the share dialog before copying, or add ?t=90 (seconds) to the link. The embed honours the timestamp.
Good to know
- The player is responsive and respects your blog's theme, including dark mode.
- Embedding uses YouTube's privacy-friendly player domain where available.
- Got a podcast or a mix instead of a video? See Spotify and SoundCloud.
