By using writizzy.com, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

These terms cover both the use of the service (Terms of Use) and the purchase of paid plans (Terms of Sale). The service is operated by Hugo Lassiège (Writizzy); see our Legal Notice for full company details.

What writizzy Is

writizzy is a publishing platform. You write, we host. Simple as that.

Your Account

When you create an account:

• You're responsible for keeping your credentials secure
• You're responsible for all activity under your account
• You can delete your account anytime from your settings

Inactive Accounts

Accounts that remain empty and unused for an extended period may be subject to removal. This helps keep subdomains available for active users.

Your Content

Everything you publish is yours. You keep full ownership. By publishing on writizzy, you give us permission to host and display your content. That's it.

You're responsible for what you publish. Make sure you have the right to share it.

Moderation

We don't pre-screen content, but we won't host everything. Content that's not allowed:

• Illegal content (child exploitation, terrorism, etc.)
• Spam and phishing attempts
• Harassment and doxxing
• Content that infringes copyright or other intellectual property
• Malware and malicious code

We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules or applicable laws.

Reporting Content

If you find problematic content, see our abuse & content reporting page or email contact@writizzy.com. We review reports and take action when needed. As a hosting provider, we respond to valid legal requests and work with authorities when required.

Service Availability

We work hard to keep writizzy running reliably. We make daily backups of all content. That said, the service is provided "as is" - we recommend you keep your own backups of important content.

Plans, Pricing & Payment

writizzy offers a free plan and paid plans (Starter, Premium, Teams). Current prices and what each plan includes are shown on our pricing page. Prices are stated in euros. VAT is not applicable (art. 293 B CGI).

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis through our payment provider, Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge the applicable fee to your payment method. Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time from your settings; cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current paid period.

If a payment fails, we may retry it and, if it keeps failing, downgrade or suspend access to paid features. You are responsible for keeping your billing details up to date.

Note on reader subscriptions: when readers pay creators for premium content, that money flows directly to the creator through their own Stripe account. writizzy takes 0% commission and is not a party to that transaction; the creator is the seller and is responsible for it.

Right of Withdrawal & Refunds

As a consumer in the EU, you normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal on online purchases. Because writizzy is digital content/services supplied immediately, by subscribing and starting to use a paid plan you expressly request immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed. For the unused portion of a subscription, contact contact@writizzy.com and we'll do our best to find a fair solution.

What You Can't Do

• Try to hack or compromise the service
• Overload our systems with automated requests
• Scrape content in violation of our robots.txt
• Use the service for illegal activities
• Claim unreasonable numbers of subdomains (no squatting)

We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and remember your preferences, plus privacy-friendly, EU-hosted analytics. No advertising cookies. See our Cookie Policy for details.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms occasionally. Continued use of writizzy means you accept the updated terms.

Liability

We're not liable for content published by users. We're not liable for damages arising from the use of writizzy, except where prohibited by law (fraud, personal injury, etc.).

Law and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by French law. For EU users, you retain the protections afforded by EU consumer law.
