Migrate from WordPress to Writizzy

Leave plugin management behind, keep everything that matters. Import your posts, pages, categories, tags, and images — then enjoy a platform that takes care of itself.

Why bloggers leave WordPress for Writizzy

WordPress can do anything with enough plugins. Writizzy does everything a blogger needs without any.

No Plugins Needed
WordPress requires plugins for newsletters, SEO, caching, and security. Writizzy includes all of these out of the box — nothing to install, configure, or keep updated.
Built-in Newsletter
Send posts to your subscribers directly from Writizzy. No Mailchimp integration, no third-party email tool, no extra monthly cost. Newsletter is part of the platform.
Managed Hosting
No more dealing with hosting providers, server updates, or PHP version upgrades. Writizzy is fully managed — your blog is always online, fast, and secure.
Automatic Updates
WordPress requires regular updates to core, themes, and plugins. Writizzy handles all updates automatically — no maintenance weekends, no broken plugins after an update.
Better Performance
Writizzy is built for speed with server-side rendering, automatic image optimization, and a global CDN. No caching plugins or performance tuning needed.
Built-in Security
No security plugins, no worrying about vulnerable themes or outdated PHP. Writizzy handles SSL, DDoS protection, and security updates automatically.

Frequently asked questions

Will my WordPress plugins be migrated?

Plugin functionality does not transfer because Writizzy handles those features natively. Newsletter sending, SEO optimization, caching, analytics, and security are all built into the platform. If you rely on a very specific plugin (like WooCommerce for e-commerce), Writizzy may not be the right fit — we focus on blogs and newsletters.

Can I migrate a WooCommerce store?

No. Writizzy is a blogging and newsletter platform, not an e-commerce solution. If your WordPress site includes a store alongside a blog, you can migrate the blog content to Writizzy and keep WooCommerce running separately, or use a dedicated e-commerce platform for the store.

What about custom post types and page builders?

Standard posts and pages are fully supported. Custom post types (like portfolio items or testimonials) are imported as regular posts. Content created with page builders like Elementor or Divi is imported as simplified HTML — visual layouts built with drag-and-drop editors do not transfer as structured blocks.

How long does a WordPress migration take?

The import itself takes less than five minutes for most blogs. A site with 500 posts and 1,000 images typically processes in under two minutes. The main time investment is reviewing your imported content and updating DNS records if you are keeping your domain.
