Writizzy runs a hosted MCP server. Any AI agent that supports MCP, such as Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor, can connect to your blog with one address. Then ask it how your blog is doing, what to fix in a post's SEO, or to try a new theme, and it works from your real posts, figures and settings.
Step 1: Add the Writizzy address
In your agent's settings, find where connectors (or MCP servers) are added, and add a custom one with this address:
https://mcp.writizzy.com/mcp
There is no API key to copy.
Step 2: Pick a blog and what the agent may do
Your agent opens a Writizzy page. Sign in if you need to, pick the blog to connect, and tick what the agent may do. Click Allow and you are back in your agent.
| Permission | What the agent can do |
|---|---|
| Read your posts | List your posts, drafts included, and run the SEO check on a post |
| Read your statistics | Views, visitors, traffic sources, best posts, new subscribers, newsletter opens |
| Write drafts | Edit titles, excerpts, tags and cover images, and add images |
| Publish | Publish a post, now or on a date, and unpublish it |
| Change settings | Update your blog name, tagline and logo, switch theme or adjust its colors and fonts, and manage redirects |
Publish and Change settings are unticked by default, because both change what your readers see right away.
Step 3: Ask
A few things to try:
- "How did my blog do this month?"
- "Run the SEO check on my last post and fix what it finds."
- "Show me three themes that would suit my blog, with their demo."
- "Match my accent color to my logo."
- "Redirect my old WordPress URLs to the new posts."
Good to know
- Whatever you allow, the agent never sends your newsletter, never shares a post on your social networks, and never sees your subscribers' email addresses.
- Every edit to a post is kept in its history, so you can restore it.
- To connect several blogs, add the connector once per blog. Only a blog's owner and its admins can connect it.
- Disconnect an agent anytime from Settings → MCP in your dashboard.
- Available on the Starter plan and above. See the MCP feature page and the full guide.
